NextUpBooking is an appointment-booking platform operated by Liberation Logic LLC ("we", "us"). Independent businesses (salons, studios, shops) use it to take bookings from their own clients, each on their own subdomain of nextupbooking.com. This policy covers what we collect, why, and what we do not do with it.

1. Information we collect

• Contact details you provide when booking: name, phone number, and optionally email address.
• Booking details: services selected, appointment times, and add-ons.
• Payment information: processed by our payment processor. We store only card brand, last four digits, and expiry, and only for cards you choose to save.
• SMS consent records: if you opt in to text messages, we retain the timestamp and the exact disclosure text you agreed to, as carrier compliance requires.
• Account credentials, for businesses using the platform: email address and a hashed password. We never store passwords in readable form.

2. How we use your information

• To book, confirm, and manage your appointments.
• To send the appointment text messages described in section 3, when you have opted in.
• To process payments you authorize.
• To operate and secure the platform, for example, rate-limiting sign-in attempts.

3. Text messages and your mobile information

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is sold, rented, or traded, under any circumstances. Text message originator opt-in data and consent records are not shared with any third party except the messaging provider that transmits the message on our behalf, and that provider may use it only to deliver the message.

Text messages are sent only to numbers that opted in through the unchecked, optional consent checkbox on a business's booking page. They are transactional (appointment reminders and booking receipts), never marketing. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply.

You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any message. The opt-out is applied immediately and across every business you have booked with through NextUpBooking. Reply HELP for help. Full program terms are on the home page and in the Terms of Service.

Phone numbers are stored in our database on servers we control, are transmitted over encrypted connections, and are accessible only to the business you booked with and to platform administrators.

4. Who your information is shared with

• The business you booked with sees your booking and contact details, because it needs them to serve you.
• Our payment processor receives payment data to complete a transaction you authorize.
• Our messaging provider receives your phone number and the message text, solely to deliver a message you asked for.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We disclose it otherwise only where the law compels it.

5. Data retention

Booking and consent records are retained while the business operates on this platform, to preserve appointment history and to satisfy carrier and TCPA record-keeping obligations for A2P 10DLC messaging.

6. Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes. Card numbers are never stored on our servers in readable form. Destructive administrative actions require re-authentication.

7. Your rights

You may request a copy of your personal data, or its deletion, by emailing [email protected] or by contacting the business you booked with. Consent audit records may be retained where telecommunications regulations require it, even after other data is removed.

8. Children

The platform is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision; material changes will be reflected there.
